Brian and I went out tonight to celebrate our Valentine's! We went to dinner at Gianmarco's, then went to the movies. Dinner was wonderful and we had a great time! We saw Taken and I HIGHLY recommend it! It was great!

Also, early today I was able to braid Kelsey's hair into pigtails. I thought it turned out soo cute, so I had to get the camera out!! I love her so much and I thinks she likes her mommy a little, too!!

Valentine's Day 2009

Well, we had a blast on Valentine's Day this year! Brian came to eat lunch with me Friday and he showed up with a half dozen roses which are SOO PRETTY. We had a very nice, peaceful lunch at Habenaros. Then Friday night, Kelsey's Uncle JJ spent the night with us, so he was there with us to do Valentine's morning with us! Kelsey got the new Tinkerbell movie and my wonderful love got me what he wanted to get me for Christmas, but didn't - a new IPod touch - I LOVE It!! It is the coolest thing ever! Brian and Uncle JJ played Guitar Hero while Kelsey took a nap for our fun night ahead! Our original plans were to meet Aunt Amie and Uncle Eric at Chuck E. Cheese to play with Drake and Layla - but we got there and it was like a 2 hour wait. So we ended up eating at Pizza Hut and then onto our first adventure of bowling with a 2 year old!!! Kelsey seemed to have enjoyed it though! She was able to pick up the ball and roll it all by herself. Mommy and Daddy were so proud! But, I have to say myself, with our wild daughter getting tired - the last 30 minutes were tough on us!! =~ ) Needless to say, that is our last bowling trip for a while! OH - and I HAD to get a picture of her bowling shoes - they were SOOO little and SOOO adorable!!!

Brian's daughter!

I am just LOVING the "two's"(right now, anyway) Kelsey's vocabulary is getting better and better-It is just amazing how much she picks up from us, that we don't realize!!!! She has now started telling us "I love you" and I'll say I love you more and she'll return with I love YOU more!! It is just soooo cute! I LOVE IT!!!! I have FOR SO long wanted her to start saying that! Saturday morning while we were laying in bed - she laid across my head, holding it and said I love you!! It just made my day, right then!!!!
But there are somethings that she has picked up that we have to work on!!! Whenever she poots she has to say, no matter WHERE you are, I "farted"!! She got her MiMi in the line at Wal-Mart the other day - she couldn't get her Passi in her mouth fast enough! LOL! Also, MiMi got onto her Monday and Kelsey returned in "you turd!" You NEVER know what is going to come out of her mouth! She is a MESS and she gets it from, who else? her daddy!!!! =~ )

Noodle Nose

Well, this is a MUST in Kelsey's baby book!!! We had my family over yesterday for our Sunday lunch. We had the easy does it - Spaghetti! Well, Kelsey's been battling a runny nose and sneezing for the past few days. As we were eating - she sneezes, then gets this funny, puzzled look on her face and starts kind of coughing. She keeps this look for the next couple of minutes and we were like - I bet she got a noodle in her nose.... She coughs again and Brian said that he thought he saw a noodle "dangling" in the back of her throat.. GROSS!!. Again, she pretty much keeps this puzzled look, along with kind of talking through her nose.... By this time, she was DONE eating.... Wanted down, so we cleaned her up, then let her down to play. Wasn't five minutes and she sneezed again.... I immediately looked at her to find 1/4 inch of noodle hanging out of her nose - OMG!! I started freaking.. I, first, tried to wipe her nose and it didn't come out. That's when my cousin-in-law, Amie, came to the rescue and got the noodle (that ended up being about 2 1/2 inches long) out of Kels's nose.... I was totally wigged out and am so glad that I had someone to come to my rescue!!!! Thank you SOOO much Amie!! I owe you one!! LOL

After ALL the excitment of the noodle - We went outside for the kids to play. It was such a gorgeous day! The kids had a BLAST! They ALL rode in Kelsey's escalade, played football, played on the swingset and rode their Ripstick... Also, not to mention my mishap with the peach cobbler - We finally determined the problem was that we have "all-purpose" flour instead of "self-rising"! Next time, I will do a test run, first!!!! Gah - yesterday was a very adventerous day, I would say!!!
Love to ALL!!

Circus 2009

Well, we took Kelsey to the circus and she seemed to have really enjoyed it this year as she did last year! She LOVED the cotton candy, the Tiger's and the Horses! When the horses came out she said " I want to ride horse". It was so cute. That is about all she said the whole time there - she was in just complete amazement. Brian and I couldn't get over the PRICES! ~
  • $12- Cotton Candy (because it came with a hat, they said)
  • $18 For her little stuffed tiger in the purse
CRAZINESS!! But they know us crazy people will pay it!!
