Sunday, Day 2

We got up early and ate breakfast in the room - It was so good!! Amie had to give Eric a quick haircut, so Brian decided to as well!! He asked me - should I? I was like I don't care, honey. It is hair it'll grow back! I seriously would not think he would do it - BUT, he did!! I really like it, though. It has really been his first different style in almost 15 years - HA! He is sooo paticular about his hair, I still can't believe he done it - But, he did and I think he really likes it. Told me we had to go to Wal-Mart and buy some clippers - HA! :)
Finally, after we played barber shop we went down to the beach. We were able to spend it Van, Debra, the boys and then Craig, Becky and Amber. We all had a good time!

We ended up eating at Carrabba's. It was pretty good, but I think ever had better! Anyway, here are all the pic's I got of Day 2~

The Beach - Day 1

After so many months of all the anticipation.... Our vacation is FINALLY here!!! We left the house yesterday morning (Saturday) and met Eric and Amie at Chic-fil-a in McAdory around 7:00.. Since the girls would be contained for about 5 hours, we just let them play. They could just eat on the road. But we left there around 8:00 sometime. It was a good ride down. We got to PCB around 12:45 or so. We got here and our room was ready, so we checked in and got unpacked. We were all starving, so we went and grabbed a bite at the good 'ol Hooters, then went to buy some groceries. This place is so packed, we litterally had to wait about 30 minutes on the elevators to get up to our room! They guys took the stairs since we had milk and the other cold stuff... Anyway - we finally were able to get on our swimsuits and go down to the little water park we have here!

This morning I woke up early. What in the world is up with that???? Up at 6:30 on my vacation.. Guess I am just getting old - HA! :) So, thought I would go ahead and do some blogging!!! But I am out on the balcony and it feels so wonderful out here!!! There is a steady breeze blowing and it is just AWESOME!! All the hard days at work for Brian and me are all worth this one week of family vacation!! I just love life!! Anyway, here is Day 1 of our beach trip!

Father's Day

Well, we had a GREAT Father's Day weekend. We had our softball game on Friday night and after that we headed down to the lake! We were able to spend ALL day on the water (Well, I did.. Brian and Kelsey decided to take a 3 hour nap!) It was so gorgeous, but OH SO HOT!! :) I know it isn't like me, but I didn't get ANY pictures on Saturday... The ONLY ones are the ones below from Sunday but... NONE with my Daddy (the one of us three girls and him...that was on Mother's Day) =( Just makes me so mad at myself.... Anyway, since we were able to spend all day with Van, Brian's daddy. We got up Sunday morning, done Father's Day with Brian and Van, took some pic's and then headed back to B-ham to my sister's for lunch. We just had sub sandwiches so that we could head on over to the country club and swim! It was so much fun.. Hate I didn't get any pic's of the family swimming.. :(

Anyway, to my special husband:
Brian, thank you so much for being the BEST husband in the world. You mean so much to me, more than you'll EVER know! I love you with all my heart and you are the BEST Daddy to our little angel. I thank God each and every day for giving me the most wonderful man of all! I love you, sweetie and hope you enjoyed YOUR weekend.

And Daddy, I just want to let you know I will always be your little girl! I love you so much and am so thankful to have as the one I call "Daddy". I will always remember our special memories I have growing up! Thank you so much for those! I love you bunches! ~ Your Punkin, Shea~

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's day weekend!! Brian and I had a date night Saturday night. We went to Olive Garden and to the movies. MiMi and Paw-Paw kept Kelsey for us, so we went by after the movie and picked her up. But, we got up a little early Sunday morning to celebrate Mother's Day. Brian and Kelsey got me a gift card to my favorite store, Maurice's. So, I am looking very forward in using that! :) Brian knows what my "cup of tea" is! We went to church and then had lunch with Brian's family at his mom and dad's house. Then we went to my sister's house to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom. We took it simple, Hot dogs with all the fixin's and chips. It was so good!! The kids had a BLAST together, as always!

The story behind the "Grandchildren" print. My mom has been telling us girls that she wants a picture of all the grandkids feet so she can put it on her wall. We finally all got together and made it happen. I actually got the print ordered the Monday before Mother's Day and was praying soo hard I would have it by Sunday and that the resolution would turn out and it wouldn't be blurry!! I was SOOOO SOOO excited Friday afternoon when I got it out and saw that it was "Perfect". I could not WAIT to give it to her Sunday. She was so excited, though!!

There was a little black puppy that showed up at my sister's house on Saturday. The kids had a blast playing with it!!

Well, the puppy had gotten into Jennifer's Daylilly she had JUST planted and she got on to the puppy..... Well, he went into the bushes and wouldn't come out. These pic's are of the girls looking for the dog in the bushes... Kelsey was so funny.. As you can see in a couple of the pictures, she was pulling the bushes apart hollering "puppy" it was precious

I love the picture of Kelsey and Layla - look at Kelsey's little attitude. Layla was pulling Kelsey trying to get her to take a picture of her and Kelsey had NO part in it.. Look at the one where Layla is just a smiling and Kelsey is trying to pry her shirt out of Layla's hand!! TOO CUTE.. And check out Miss Hollywood (the birthday girl) in her Barbie sunglasses! Precious!!! Happy 2nd Birthday, Kailee Bug's!!! Aunt Shea loves you!

Sleepy Kelsey

This was the funniest thing. Kelsey hadn't had a nap all day long. She was just a sitting there eating and Brian said that he had JUST looked at her, like 30 seconds before, and she was scarfing down her spaghetti... that must've been her very last bite because Brian looked over there first and thought she was looking down... she wasn't moving.. he said Kelsey and she popped her head up and her eyes were barely opened.. She had litterally fell right to sleep.. It was too cute. Needless to say, I wiped her down and put her to bed... It wasn't a good night for us, she tossed and turned the whole night! Guess she was just restless!!

This was last Saturday (05/09/2009) Kelsey and I went shopping with a friend and her little girl from church and it wasn't 10 minutes after we got home and she was out... I walked in to check on her and this is what I found...

Boat journey with friend's!

We had some more friends join us for a boat ride... We had lots of fun. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures on the boat... But you can view some Crystal took, here. After we got back, we hung out for a minute... Kelsey was able to give Jacob some lovin... She loved him, it was the sweetest thing. We had so much fun.

We are looking very forward to the many trips we'll be making this summer to the lake!! We had a blast the weekend we went to the lake. The water was ICE cold but Kelsey wanted to "wim" so bad, so we couldn't keep her out of the water.....it was the weekend it was so hot, so it would be just mean not to let her get in. Since it is, now, like 3 weeks later, I can proudly say that she didn't even get sick from it. =) She is going to have so much fun this summer! Can't wait for all the fun times ahead!
